Accessibility Options to Enjoy the Outdoors with Wagon Rides and Action Track Chairs

Dubuque County Conservation workers have been sponsoring several options for people with limited mobility to enjoy the outdoors. Resuming wagon rides this fall, the Conservation employees sponsored several ride days and will expand the schedule next year to include more summer dates. Conservation Director Brian Preston entertained riders with area history during rides.

Another feature the county has at its fingertips are action track chairs. These chairs look like wheelchairs with triangular web tracks, allowing riders to travel on trails and even through streams.
